The Wall

"The Wall" is my final thesis in Academy of Art University. Lily lived in a city which is surrounded by a massive wall. One day,she found a way going out of the city and met a creature who likes to paint.

Making a rough color study was an interesting process, it's quick.
Although the process of making painting took me so much time,
I was still glad to see the pating was done. Holy Potter go!go!go!

Eventually, I did some vector arts to prove I can do something in Illustrator.
I thought it will be a series of monsters at the beginning, but most of them look like alien things now....

Holy Potter coming again~

I did a very rough sketch and color study, and tried to use color block to show the composition before making a painting. Then, I did two versions with different background. One is with Troll, and another one is with nothing. Go!Go! Holy Potter.
